I am excited you have joined our Avon Dream Team. Welcome to the start of your very own Avon business. I am Linda M. Leverett, the Leader of Avon Dream Team. You may have joined directly with me or with a fellow rep on our team. Either way, you are a part of our Avon Dream team. In this blog, you will find lots of information that will help you grow your business. Plus, I want to extend a warm Welcome to Avon and our Dream team! Grab you a drink, note pad and pen. I know this is lengthy but has great information for you to get your business off to a great start.
If you signed up online, then your Avon Starter Kit materials are on their way to you. It can take a couple days to receive so while you are anxiously awaiting your package, here are a few things you can do to prepare for your new business to get underway:

1. Check out our representative website which is: www.youravon.com
The first thing you will want to do is to REGISTER your Avon account so that you can set up your account password and get your Estore URL. You do this by going to: www.youravon.com which is the representative website - and then click on Set up your account now and get your Avon business started. Follow the steps. This takes just about 3 minutes. Your Account# & District# are located on your contract or your email from Avon after you joined. Get to know this site as it is the "go to" place for EVERYTHING YOU will do with your Avon business.
Here you will:
- Place your orders every 2 weeks
- Pay you bill
- Manage your E-store (where your customers go to shop online with you, your e-store URL should have been given to you when you registered)
- Visit Avon University for training at your own pace....and so much more!
2. Order Due Dates & Mail Plan Schedule:
Orders go in every 2 weeks. Your orders will be submitted online at http://www.youravon.com, go to "enter items" at the top left corner. To find your order dates, go to CAMPAIGN INSIDER then click on "Campaign Selling Calendar". This will tell you when your online store (Estore) will switch to the next campaign sales, when you can start selling from the next campaign and the day your campaign is due. This page is also helpful for the day you start building your team. When you add someone to your team, you can go here and look for their information, too.
3. Share your E-store Address (URL):
Once you are registered at http://www.youravon.com, you can begin sharing your Estore URL so that those you know that live to far to deliver to face to face (like those out of state) can shop with you. NOTE THAT YOUR E-STORE URL IS DIFFERENT THAN YOUR REPRESENTATIVE WEBSITE. You will receive your Estore URL when you REGISTER your account. Go ahead and share your Estore URL via email, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, InStagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Text of contacts, and any other social media outlets you prefer to drive friends, relatives, customers etc to your site. 4. How do I make money selling Avon?
With Avon - YOU are in complete control with how much money your earn every 2 weeks. No other job (that I know of!) allows yo to give yourself a raise every two weeks...... You decide how much you want to make and set out to sell as much as you can so that you attain your personal goals!
You can view the earning schedule by signing into www.youravon.com and select "EARNING OPPORTUNITIES", so you can see that you can earn between 20% - 40% of your sales each campaign!
Earning from Face-to-Face Sales: You will hand out your brochures, collect orders from your customers, and every 2 weeks you'll place all of your orders as 1 big order of which Avon will give YOU a discount based on its size. This discount becomes your profit!!!!! The more you sell, the more you make!!! See the Earnings chart (attached) to see how much you can earn....If you sell $100, you'll make $20. If you sell $400, you'll make $160.* And it only goes up from there!!!
Earn from Estore Sales: when you refer your friends to your Estore - they can shop your website, place and pay for their orders which get shipped directly to them from Avon. You earn up to 40% on those orders, also.
*All products with a diamond icon (example shoes) are 20% earnings and it can go up to 25% earning when you get into President's Club.

5. Sell the Daily Care Collection (picture at right):

- Pass out your Avon brochure, either in person or online, to everyone you know. If you want to grow a business where you earn even more, pass out Avon brochures with people you don't know, too.
- Give a new Avon brochure to everyone on your customer list every 2 weeks. That's right!! Get a customer list of everyone and keep it going. Some customers will fall off and you will add new customers to it every week if you are growing your business.
- Offer samples once a month or every time a new product comes out. Customers sampling the product can help you earn even more. The customers can fall in love with it then buy it. Skin Care is our best repeat orders for our customers. How would you like it if you had a customer who reordered his /her night cream, day cream, eye cream, face wash, and treatment(s) at least 5 times a year? Build Skin Care Customers.
- Study your What's New Brochures. This is where we are introduced to new products. We also get to purchase products ahead to create baskets, sell on the spot and make more money.
- Take training at Avon U. Learn more about your Avon business.
- Sell the Daily Care bundle to all of your customers. Great bundles for a great price only $19.99 (a $65 value).
- Share your Avon E-Store online, in person and on your Avon materials you pass out. Code WELCOME10 is for 10% off any size order. Great to get customers shopping online. Share this code with friends and family that is locally and in other states.
- Follow up! Follow up is very important in your business. When you find out your order day or pick your order day, share that with your customers. Let's say you place your order on a Monday. You want to share that to all of your customers at time of delivering the new Avon brochure. Then stat following up the Friday before so you can collect orders. By following up, you will see a huge increase in your business.
